Social Media Coordinator

Department – Marketing             

Reports to – Director of Marketing

Main duties and responsibilities

This includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • A strong understanding of social media channels including – TikTok, LinkedIn and Twitter with the ability to create, modify and upload engaging and accurate content
  • Working closely with the Marketing Team to create strategies, sequences, and workflows for marketing campaigns in HubSpot CRM
  • Discovering areas to engage customers
  • Working with Vidyard, recording, editing, and uploading material to the website and social media
  • Review posts, comments and questions on webinars and be responsive to customers
  • Identifying trends and conversations in the market and act upon this information
  • Make suggestions and brainstorm ideas to improve the companies presence in the marketplace
  • Analyse the marketing activity and response rates
  • Build relationships with customers through marketing streams – testimonials, interviews, etc
  • Plan strategies for paid campaigns

You may also be required to perform such other and/or additional duties within your skillset and competence as your employer may require.

Person Specification

Essential
  • Have experience with social media platforms
  • High understanding and ability to work with Vidyard video platform
  • Understanding Marketing for an EdTech company
  • Must be creative and ideas driven
  • Good level of IT literacy & knowledge
  • Attention to detail, especially with written copy
  • Able to change the workflow in a fast-paced environment
  • A flexible and organised approach to a varied workload
  • Team attitude and collaborative approach with colleagues
  • Ability and desire to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment

Desirable
  • Experience using HubSpot CRM
  • Understanding of the education sector
